Delegate Welcome Reception - Vancouver Convention Centre, WEST

The 2009 Forum Welcome Reception was hosted at the Vancouver Convention Centre's spectacular new West Building, providing unrivalled views of Stanley Park and the North Shore Mountains. Delegates had the opportunity to network with colleagues while sampling some of BC’s locally grown edibles as well as BC’s finest refreshments.

In addition, the Honourable Blair Lekstrom, Minister of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources was officially welcomed to Team Power Smart during the 2009 Forum Welcome Reception.

The VCC West Building was a finalist in the category of Innovation in Sustainable Building Design at the 2009 Power Smart Excellence Awards – truly a masterpiece of design, inspiration and sustainability!

The 2009 Power Smart Forum Tradeshow

In 2009, BC Hydro invited more than 40 Alliance Member exhibitors to showcase their energy-saving products and technologies onsite at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

The Forum Tradeshow is a great opportunity for participants to engage and network with peers as well as leading industry experts.

Delegates from all streams were invited to attend the Tradeshow Reception and enjoy refreshments and appetizers. The Tradeshow Reception served as the close to the 2009 Power Smart Forum.
